Who we are
The company responsible for your data
This website is run by Seradiag Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 14428934), with its registered office at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. We are the controller of the personal data described below, which means we decide how and why it is used.
For anything about your data, email info@seradiag.co.uk.
What we collect
Data you give us, and why
We do not ask for sensitive personal data and we do not sell your data. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. See our cookie policy for what is stored in your browser.
Lawful basis
Why we are allowed to use it
When you send an enquiry or ask for a quote, we use your data to take steps at your request before a contract and for our legitimate interest in running a business-to-business supply service. When you ask for the catalogue, our legitimate interest is responding to a business enquiry. For optional updates our basis is your consent, which you can withdraw whenever you like. Some records we keep because the law requires it, for example for tax, export and quality documentation.
Who sees it
Who we share data with
Only the Seradiag team sees your enquiry. We use a small number of service providers to run the site, who process data on our instructions: a hosting provider, a database provider that stores enquiries, and an email service that sends us a notification when a form is submitted. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, in which case we rely on recognised safeguards for the transfer. If you place an order, we may also share what is needed with couriers and customs authorities to ship it.
How long
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and catalogue requests for as long as they are needed to deal with your request and any resulting business relationship, and for as long as the law requires us to keep related records. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
What you can ask us to do
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. Email us and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
